?: I am having trouble signing up for the newsletter. I keep getting an error code. What is wrong? A: The Newsletter signup page has to have an entry on every line. If you leave a space blank, you will get an error code when you try to send. If you are having a hard time getting the signup completed, feel free to send an e-mail to DanskMermaid@aol.com and send the signup information requested and you will be manually entered into the newsletter group. ?: Where are the free patterns located? In what section of the site they are located? A: There is no special "freebie" section in the Jaenne's or Angel Quilt Project site. You just need to look through the categories and choose patterns to look at. There are more free patterns on this site than those that are for sale. Your chances are pretty good to find a free pattern you would love to do. Besides, most of Jaenne's sale patterns cost $1, and the most expensive Angel Quilt Project pattern is $3. They are not that expensive. ?: How do I download the pattern? There is no download button on the page. I cannot see where I download the pattern. A: For all free patterns, you just click on the actual picture on the pattern page. The pattern image IS the download button. ?: I've installed the Pattern Maker Pattern Viewer, but it is not printing large enough, even though I increase the size to 400%. What is wrong? A: While you have a pattern on the Viewer, go to File, choose Page Setup, and under the Size tab, click on "Same as display size", and hit OK. The pattern will now print the same size as you have it set on the Viewer. You will need to check the Page Setup with every pattern. ?: How do I print the black and white chart? A: While you have a pattern on the Viewer, go to View, choose Symbols, and the black and white page will pop up. ? I've downloaded a pattern, but my computer is not recognizing the XSD file name (As in AngelofDenmark.xsd) I am unable to open the pattern. What needs to be done? A: The XSD file is not recognized by your computer because you need to download the latest version of the Pattern Maker Pattern Viewer. Pattern Maker changed their filenames from PAT file to XSD because their PAT files were getting confused with the PCStitch PAT files names, and the two programs are not compatible. Please go to: Download the Pattern Maker Viewer (version 4.04) for your operating system After you have the new Viewer installed, your computer will recognize the XSD extension. |
