All patterns are free now. I am working as
hard as I can to convert all of the priced
patterns to free, and also provide them in
PDF, so anyone can use them. If you come
across a pattern that is priced or not in
PDF, contact me, and I will e-mail the
pattern to you.There is no special "freebie"
section in the site. You just need to look
through the categories and choose patterns
to look at. They are all free
?: How do I download the pattern? There is no download button on the page. I cannot see where I download the pattern.
A: For all free patterns, you just click on the actual picture on the pattern page. The pattern image IS the download button.
?: I downloaded a pattern in a zip file that has an .xsd extention. What do I do with it?'
A: We are in the process of converting all files to PDF documents. Due to the large number of files, It's taking us a while. Just notify me atDanskMermaid@aol.com, whether it be a free or a
purchased pattern, I will glady rapidly send you the PDF. Usually, hen I get notification of a sale I will automatically send out the PDF to your e-mail address while I catch up.
?: Why are some of the PDFs so big and have so many pages?
A: The PDFs are created at the largest view level we can create for that pattern. This serves two needs. These files take up less web storage space and the large print is beneficial and help for people who have a vision impairment.
? I've downloaded a pattern, but my computer is not recognizing the XSD file name (As in AngelofDenmark.xsd) I am unable to open the pattern. What needs to be done?
